Title: How to tell when the dump valve is worn
Post by: Ashleydwsmith on 15 May 2011, 19:14
Hi,

I'm new to the site posted a welcome earlier.

Got a '99 1.8t gti, my neighbour has one as well and has told me that the diaphragms go on the original DV'S.  question is how do you tell when it has gone?

At the moment it makes a whistling noise when I change gear.

Do I need a new one?
