Title: Best aftermarket air filter?

What is the best aftermarket air filter for a mk3 16v? Was looking at a pipercross panel filter? advice would be appreciated. :smiley:

Pipercross/K&N/Green/BMC...can't say there will be much between them really. It's not like any one will add anything...or any more than any of the others.

panal filter and cold air feed best results for 8 valve there is a link on ere some ware for dyno results

I thought a new standard paper filter gave better results on that dyno test?

This  ^^^ but changed regular + smoothed bottom section of air box

standard paper filter is better for about a week until it gets a bit clogged up. i have a pipercross panel filter. £30 and it does the job. slighlty louder than standard and a touch more torque

Im in Helston mate and yea go to meets all the time! will be at Run to the Sun in a fe weeks too! what bout your self?

Plus got loads of mates with other golfs and stuff and we do local meets as much as we can too! Give me a PM if your close by will sort some more out!
