yea the green should be and i might be wrong good for 8-10psi yellow is stage 1 blue after and red is race spec
cheers
-
+1 on that!
-
would blue be k04-001 with remap

this is the guide from forge motorsport, hope this helps, you will need to know what psi you are running.
Valve Spring color coding
Green - 5-15 PSI
Yellow - 15-23 PSI
Blue - 23-30 PSI
Red - 30 + PSI
The above figures are estimates only and should only be considered as a guideline

Im running the yellow on my standard remapped 1.8T. Tried the green and yellow but found the yellow was better
-
i got red. stage 1 ko3 map but running with ko3s, a red spring opens by itself at 18psi

Ok,well this is my theory...when I bought my golf it had crappy purple dump valve on which I thought needed replacing,so I did with a forge with a green spring.however around this time my car started flat spotting at full boost when driven hard.I am now wondering wehter the car has had a remap in the past and reuqires the yellow spring?thought I'd just buy one and try it?thing is I have no idea what a standard and non standard 1.8t is supposed to drive like.lol.

what's it boostin mate anythin over 12 And its had a remap
-
I use yellow +1 spacer, I tried several different combinations and found this to build boost a little slower, but it felt bigger and it held alot better than without.
-
No idea wot the psi is as I have no gauge.

I have a Green spring and i am running a KO3s turbo with stage 3 map which was done by AMD and they said there is no need to change the spring and the car is running superbly! ......

to check, just turn the valve around so inlets/outlets swap, this stops any chance that boost pressure can escape.
