Title: Aluminum trim

Hi all  :smiley:

As a newbie to vw's. I was wonderin if someone could help me i would like to fit the brushed alu trim in my 51 plate 2l gti.
would the 5 pieces round the radio and air con controls fit.

i have the standard black plastic trim and not the wood finish.
would it just fit or would it involve a new radio cage bein fitted as i've seen in soom website.

Any body that has done this any advice would be greatful.  :grin:

I think your black trim is part of the radio cage, so not detachable. Have a good poke around at it and see if the side strips unclip (they need to be pushed up/down then pulled off)
Mine had the wood trim so it was a matter of unclip old, clip on new.
