Title: how many miles on fuel light?

how many miles is there once the warning light comes on for us diesel drivers? i always fill up quite soon after it comes on but im intrigued how many miles id get from a full tank if i proper went for it? i have a PD130 and it comes on at about 550 miles ish....?

Usually approx 7 litres when the light comes on so about 50 miles  :undecided:

comes on at 55 miles according to miles to empty but Ive gone 20 miles pass 0 and not run didnt want to risk it any more

Its a shady area, 50 miles if your driving at 50 - 55 sorta thing, but on the motorway, in town, country lanes, could be more like 25!

Not worth running the risk with a diesel!

No different to running it to nothing in a petrol nowadays either fuel not a good idea lol don't be so tight fill it up  :grin:
