I was looking at this the other day and wondered if it was any good just for a quick fix?
Im really into my detailing and have £££'s worth of top quality products as well as my DA polisher etc etc.
But ive witnessed this Demon Shine work and think it would be ok for a mid week wash?
I like many here spend 6+ hours detailing my motor but half way through the week its dirty and dull.
I thought a good wash and demon shine would do til the weekend when I have the time for the full detail.
Any thoughts?
Or is there a more quality brand product like this that I could use?

Demon shine imo is very good for use as a drying aid for a streak free finish,
use a quick detailer like dodo red mist tropical or Britemax spray & shine with carnauba on a clean dry car which will lift the gloss.

So after using Demon Shine can I remove any excess water with a drying towel or will that remove the demon shine?
I have Meg's quick detailer, is that any good? I know it doesn't contain carnauba.

basicaly wash your car as normal and rinse off, while the car is still wet go round the whole car with a diluted mix of demon shine in a sprayer( i mix around 150ml of ds in a 500ml bottle with normal tapwater) once you've misted the whole car roughly you can proceed to dry as normal and much quicker too with no streaking, you still have to wring the towel out obviously but the demon shine helps it absorb quicker,
yes megs qd is fine mate
i only suggested britemax qd because its a very good product and leaves a nice gloss and is very economical to use, i use this if i havent got time to re-wax.

I always thought it was just a cheap product from a poor brand but the other day I was giving my car a good wash, polish, seal and wax when my neighbour came out to do his car. He washed it then applied Demon Shine then went back in the house. I carried on for another 3 hours and when I finished his car looked just as shiny as mine :embarassed:
I mean for the cost of it i'll give it a go and see what results I get :wink:

tbh Jon it adds no protection so its a false economy, as a drying aid its by far the best ive ever used and it purely helps to with streaking issues.

Another vote for Demon Shine as a drying agent. A good cheap but effective product.

Beware though, Demon Shine seems to come in loads of different forms. The pure stuff is (obviously) the best as a drying aid and I think Asda have it on 2 for a fiver at the minute. :wink:
There are other types which come diluted in spray bottles and although decent for quick detailing (looked pretty good on the missus corsa) or even as a clay lube, they're not as good a drying aid.

Well Ive just used Demon Shine for the 1st time and I can honestly say as a drying aid its really good. I applied Demon Shine and left it a few minutes while I packed up my hose and buckets.
I came back to an almost dry car with no streaks, a quick go round the car with a drying towel and job done!
The Demon Shine TV advert is a lie but it does help dry your car and leaves no streaks. I'll definately will use this everytime I wash my car from now on :wink:

definatly not and wouldnt even if i could lol, its just good as a drying aid plain and simple ;)

i used this last 2 washes and think its good stuff for very cheap compared to other drying aids..

Steve30, can only assume you've only tried the squirty bottle Demon Shine which although OK as a drying aid, isn't as good as the un-diluted bottles. I'd almost go as far as to say I'd defy anyone to use it and not see a difference. That's not to say there aren't better products but it does work pretty well.
Colour matters not white or black, metallic or flat.
