Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to remove the plastic trim thats on the midpoint of each door exterior to check there's nothing nasty lurking behind it (there's definately moss growing around it). If so does it bolt on or......
Thanks,
Chief :)

just give it a gentle pull there just held on with clips

Don't be suprised of the clips snap though, it's not uncommon all mine did!

You will need new clips when you refit them.
Don't bother with the ebay clips get genuine ones.

Thanks for the replies.
On the first door I tried only the very last clip broke.

Having recently switched from GTI to CL door strips i can confirm that you will almost certainly require new clips, it's the shallower white end ones that always snap. the longer central ones ive never had any issues with what so ever.
As for what you've said about buying genuine ones....the clips i purchased from B&B Components were absolutely fine.
