I have an ignition amp for sale!! make sure its that before you buy one.
-
i have that problem now, i changed plugs and coil pack, sometimes when i fiddle with the wire that goes into the c/pack while the engine is running it suddenly fires up on 4? arrrgghhh so anoying, i had to limp all the way from brighton to mansfield (east mids) yesterday, not good

What engine code is yours?
-
Im guessing you have an agu? Check all the wiring, mine split a wire on a connecter going to one side of ignition amp. If it's not that then it's prob the ignition amp. Try and get hold of one to test first. I managed to get one of the bay for 10 squid, it was listed as an air box sensor.

sorry 4 late reply its an agu, 99 plate

I had the same symptoms, turned out to be ignition module. Got a bosch one from euro car parts for around £80.
