Hey all, sorry for a newb question but what the size of a 1.4 petrol tank? Just put 40 quid in and got three quarter's full. Sound right? Sorry its my 1st golf and not had it long :)

55 litres..

The fuel tank is a really odd shape and thus the fuel gauge isn't much use until you need some more petrol.
55 litres..
Thats how much it will hold, about £60 iirc to brim
