Hi all,
my car (1.8t AGU) has been running ruff for a while, the car stands for a fortnight each month unused as im at work and the last twice when i returned to the car it would not start, jumped the car both times and it started fine. I cleaned the throttle body a couple of months ago and the car idles fine for a few seconds then the revs jump upto 1200rpm. I though i was starting to have coilpack issues as it seemed to be misfireing at idle so i got it scanned today and the only fault code it showed was "Low Voltage at terminal 30" the guy then load tested the battery and advised to replace. fitted a new battery fitted and changed the spark plugs while i was at it,lol.
should this cure the ruff running?
cheers

low voltage code is battery low voltage ie been disconnected or run flat, idle could be maf sensor, air leak, boost leak etc etc etc
if it sits for a while it might be worth a blast out for a while(obviously no more than 70mph!!)
