Title: black 8v gti

thought i would make a post in here had the car since jan paid 200 for it has a copple bits of rust that need sorting i will put pics up i have done a few things to it and before anyone says anything about the headlights i know i hate them waiting for some one to wanna swap or give me money for them i need either new rear shocks or axel bushes and the back end is not nice over bumps here is some pics

Common rust area at least you cant see it with the door closed  :grin:

And for the money it looks spot on! Where you going with it then?

i plan to sort the back end out next week i need to weld to patchs into the floor where the ruber bungs are no other rust under it atall i do wanna drop it soon also

i aint to sure how far im going to go with it first things to do really is sort all the little bits that need doing prob a set of leather seats drivers door has droped slighty have seen somthing on here about solveiing it so need to look into that anyone know how to take the rear sode window out or dose it have to be cut out

also bidding on a golf 3.5 sterring wheel shold inprove the in side a bit was thinking about trying tio get mk4 seats init saw it some where a while back

Looks a tidy base for a few mods, rust is not too bad to sort.

im planing on cutting the bit of the sill out and welding a new pice in there i have seen people just use filler but surely that aint safe i will get some pics of the holes in ther floor that need doing
