Title: Pressure Washers (Another one I know...)
Post by: Agreeable Slick on 10 May 2011, 20:32
Looking at this: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_802325_categoryId_165689_langId_-1?cm_sp=Intelligent_Offer-_-Product_List_Zone_1-_-Blank&iozone=PLPz1

Any good?

Also, how does all of this snow foam stuff work? The bottle karcher seem to sell looks tiny compared to some I've seen.

Any and all help in terms of price and other stuff I should do/get is appreciated.

Nilfisk make better quality motors in their pressure washers... my Karcher lasted only about a year and that wasn't for commercial use either.. its because the pumps they make are plastic.

Have a look and a good comparison with Karcher and Nilfisk.

Something like this.. http://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=7431 (http://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=7431) would see you right.. including a 2 year warranty. 120 bar is ample.

If I were you I'd drop the price £50 and get yourself a decent HD snowfoam like this..

will produce much better results... mine has lasted years

Sound, what sort of fitment am I looking at with this snowfoam holder?

Doesn't offer nilfisk as an option on the website.

Oh and plus, what sort of thing am I looking for detergent wise?

i 'think' it would be the kew/alto fitting as i 'think' that is what nilfisk was called before... i think the two companies amalgamated

fcuk it.. this offering from elite comes with 1ltr snow foam to get you started

http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/elite-heavy-duty-foam-lance-6-types-of-fitment-and-free-1l.php?cPath=21_60_61 (http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/elite-heavy-duty-foam-lance-6-types-of-fitment-and-free-1l.php?cPath=21_60_61)

you can also use a code from ed38 (i think it is edition38) to get a discount from elite

waxamomo are currently out of stock otherwise I would be recommending Chris

Nice one Guy, will get to ordering this come pay day methinks.

Oh and I may need some help with some special produce in order to get rid of some quite nasty scratches on the roof (common occuring thing with me I know) from where roof bars have been dragged along it.
