Hi Guys,
Just bought an exhaust for my 16v, a standard replacement. Its just arrived and it looks more like an 8v. The guy is 100% sure its from a 16v. Can anyone confirm? sorry for crappy pic...

Its the centre box that does not look right. That is actually the only part i want to change...
Cheers

8V and 16v are the same shape, just bore is different.

Only difference between 8v and 16v is the bore so as long as that is correct it will fit.
Different suppliers use different shape boxes etc so that is not a big problem.

Thanks guys,
I’m only going to use the centre section, if that connects to the current back box. Just checked and the bore is between 50 and 55 in places...
Could that have any performance issues?

if the bore is slightly smaller for the centre section is that going to cause any problems?

A smaller bore may cause issues with back pressure, it's always better to go up in tube diameter rather than down.

it will be ok
