Title: Sticky clutch pedal - any ideas?
Post by: rob249 on 09 May 2011, 09:45
Noticed that the clutch pedalwhen driving only returns up half way, the actual clutch engages fine i think and drives fine, then about 2 seconds later the clutch ''pops'' back up the remainder of the way.

why would this be? sticky pedal? new clutch fluid etc needed maybe?

bit annoying as every gear change i hear the ''pop'' sound

Check the clutch master cylinder attached to clutch pedal, as the master cylinder has a plastic plunger that clips into a plastic retaining clip. I've seen either the retaining clip broken or the plunger is snapped.
