im about to clean my throttle body, i know where it is but im not sure what to/not to do. Can anyone help please? :embarassed:

Theres 4 bolts mate mine were hex head if i remember rightly take them off and the throttle body comes free with pipes attached. i then cleaned mine with pipes attached as the T/B wasnt too dirty if yours is bad the obviously disconnect and clean with carb cleaner.
half hour job mate easy peasy!

i did mine from the other side, remove air box and take off the intake pipe from the TB end, (just the spring clip) left the breather etc connected.
spray a bit of carb cleaner onto the butterfly (closed) and clean, then get someone to push the accelerator pedal in (engine off!!!) spray some more cleaner in there and clean as far as you can reach, i just did mine with an old microfibre cloth. shouldnt take more than an hour.
