Title: 115PD GTTDI hub size
Post by: sveed1.8T on 07 May 2011, 22:33
I've got a 115PD and i wanted to do the 312mm brake mod.
I knew that i would need to use the complete calliper as the 115PD has smaller front brakes to the 130/150 and the 1.8T.
I drop the car off at the garage and get a phone call a short while later stating that the hubs are too small

Am i right in saying that i would need to take the front hubs off of a 130/150 or 1.8T to achieve this brake upgrade?

Yeh, cheers, it was because of reading this thread in the past that made me decide to purchase 312mm brakes!
That was when they were going to go straight onto my 1.8T.

Thanks for confirming that i need to replace the hubs though; as i didn't want to fork out for some and find out i had the wrong ones etc etc
