Has anyone converted a left hand drive Golf to right hand drive? I'm in the US and a right hand drive Rabbit would kick ass.
Thanks

one of the severe disadvantages of this mate is the fact braking goes downhill.
Because the servo is located on the left side, swapping steering rack and pedals etc over means braking isnt as effective :embarassed:

Why not just import a RHD?
Might be cheaper and a better?

Importing to the US is hard. I'd have to install marker lights and US bumpers just to get it inspected. I'd be a lot of $$ to ship it here too. I was considering a swap because I currently have a MK1 Rabbit with a bad LHD steering rack and need to install a new one anyway. I know there is a lot more work involved with switching it to RHD but the looks I'd get would make it worth it
