i have same prob after using a heavy duty spray one i have been advised and have bought a product called trim fix adheisive spray off ebay. also evo stick

and
http://www.screwfix.com/p/evo-stik-528-industrial-contact-adhesive-2-5ltr/42076

the link i have used already after the first stuff i used didn't work when bonding to the c pillars and this stuff is strong i aint ever getting the material bk off lol it expensive but really good thinking of tring it on roof linner aswell but it aint the easiest thing to apply as it does dry pretty quick if trying to cover such a large surface in my case my headliner has a patter so if i need to move the material i would have no luck if it an all one colour then it may work but mind it a brush on so need to spread evenly and avoid material soaking and glue coming through.

good luck

Best glue is wickes contact adhesive. Not spray on but very sticky. You have to let i go touch dry before sticking together though.
