Title: (mk4 Golf) will 1.6 se lowering springs fit 1.8 gti
Post by: lukeyyyyyyy21 on 04 May 2011, 21:45
I have a mk4 1.6 8v se. I bought 40ml KW lowering spring for it and fitted them a year a go on them. I'm selling the car now as I have a GTI. Just wondered would they fit on my mk4 1.8 GTI?

Am not clued up n mk4s much so it might sit fine

Yes but will sit lower on the front due to the heavier engine.

Better to fit the correct springs tbh.
