hi  all, im new to this forum & thought id introduce myself.
my name is chris,& i live in portsmouth

ive got a mk3 golf gti 8v with a starting problem.
what a surprise  :grin:

Hello mate, welcome to the club and i'm only in Fareham if you need any help with anything.  What are your starting issue symptoms ?

my  golf wont start, when you turn it over it'll rev for a second then stop, if i keep trying (at least 15 turns or more)  it will fire up & run & drive lovely but as soon as you turn the engine off it wont start again.
ive changed fuel pump relay 167 & tried a different coil.

my  golf wont start, when you turn it over it'll rev for a second then stop, if i keep trying (at least 15 turns or more)  it will fire up & run & drive lovely but as soon as you turn the engine off it wont start again.
