Who's going from the mk6 section ? :undecided:
I will be Steve, I have a stage 1 REVO to buy
You'll notice me, I'll be the only person by themselves as none of my mates will come with me
Jim

Not me.
I used to go every year from the late 80s onwards until they moved the date. It now falls on the weekend of my wife's birthday so I can't really go. Well, I would go but the kids would make me feel really guilty!
Mind you I didn't go when they moved it to that airfield in Essex for a while either, that place would involve an 8 hour journey in each direction!
I used to love the TRRL/TRL days, highlight of my VW year and used to come back loaded with bargains...... ahh, the nostalgia.......
-
I won't be at Gti Inter or modded Nats this year,
Falls on the same weekend that i am off to Spa and the Ring
-
Its my sons's 3rd bday on the 25th of June so no chance of me getting a pass to go. Shame as would be nice to meet up with a few guys on here.
-
I will be there both days this year
-
Thanks Lew , yes I will be going with mrs & my son looking forward to meeting you guys , Jim will buy you a beer mate
-
I'll be there both days.

GTi International is NOT mk6 specific. End of.
No but the thread is/was until the green mist set in.
If you want a willy waving contest, you'll win, as mine is like a gnat..................but my dad is bigger than your dad!
What I am still trying to get across is that GolfGTi is a forum of VW enthusiasts and if anyone would've cared to turn up to any of the big shows in the past that are in the correct section  representing the forum, then you would know that the vehicle ranges are very vast from Mk1's to Passats (even the odd mk3!).
I personally get annoyed at the split in the forum, and believe that we should, if we wish to represent the forum, turn up on mass to these kind of shows. An idea would be that we split the forums stands into marques at the big shows and maybe take home a forum trophy for once.
A few years ago when Hurdy was rocking the Mk5 he turned up on the club stand at Spring Fest and people were tripping over themselves to take pictures and have a look at it, which in turn brought more focus on the forum.
Even as recently as this years Spring Fest, the man at the top asked me to trim down the amount of people on the stand who didn't have a GTi, after all it is GolfGTI, not PoloTDI, or Passatslightlysportywithanseinteriorandipodconnection.
So I'll place a sticky about Inters, splitting the section into marques that will be attending. Hope that resolves our little problem.
Simples.

I was already aware of your small willy size by the fact that you don't own a mk6 GTI with at least 18'' wheels on it. As has been scientifically proven, men with huge willies have big wheels, or was it the other way round? Can't quite remember so I'll let you know next time I need to pee and thus will be rummaging about in the front of my oversized boxer shorts.
Where was I? Oh yes, I really think the seperate Golf sections for Inters would be an excellent idea, maybe you or Snoopy should link to it in the thread he put in the mk6 section to direct people in here to follow this thread that started there and should be put back there to drum up a bit of interest from that section. Why am I still harping on about putting this thread back where it came from? Simples, many mk6 owners aren't dyed in the wool VW enthusiasts and need gently persuading that shows like Inters arent just full of highly modified loadsamoney specialist custom show cars on air bags or with four engines in, neither is it a show for spotty teens with mk2 Polos covered in wallpaper (seemed to be all the rage at the last big VW meet I was at!).
So a thread in the mk6 section to drum up a bit of interest in visiting the show section would be a fine idea, but as you're global with a big dad I guess you'll have it your way anyway.
So I'll just sit here with my hard on.

LMFAO.
Beware, global power corrupts and does not last forever. :lipsrsealed:
I wonder how long this post will remain intact?

Talking of that Asker, whatever happened to Toni & Guy hair, nail and bodywork beauticians?

Thank you for answering my question with a deletion, i take that as the answer. As you seem to like to delete things or move things without any warning or redirection you can delete the 5 stick threads in the mk6 section that are not mk6 specific too.

I did this thread so that I can meet up with a few of the mk6 boys , I really dont see what the issue is here TBH ?? Why cant it be put back in the mk6 section ? Also why as the thread been cut ? Why is it being censored? :undecided:
-
Yah, boo, sucks; all the fun has been taken out of the thread
This thread has been turned into a mk1 GTI that has had ESP traction control retro fitted and a 69mph speed limiter.

First it gets locked, then it gets moved. Why?
I am totally confused. One moment there was an enjoyable discussion, then pooof, it went up in a puff of smoke.
All very strange.
Why the blazes has this been moved from the Mk6 section. I think it is a stupid move.
