Title: Snow Foam Dwell Time
Post by: Jimmymature on 28 April 2011, 22:36

Hi all, I picked up a Snow Foam lance and some Valet Pro PH neutral snow last week from Elite Car care.

1. Can you advise me how long i should leave it in the car please before washing it off?
2. How much do i put in the bottle 2" of snow?

Thanks,

Jim

Remember its only a pre-wash so 4 or 5mins to dwell is normally what I do then rinse it off
2" of snowfoam would be plenty, I normally put 1" of SF & a squirt of dodo juice sour power, topping up with warm water I think helps to get a thicker foam

i usually spray the whole car, then clean the wheels, then rinse off

as for how much, i got a large bottle, normally got 1 part foam to 10 parts warm water mix

well when i say i spray the car

About 5 mins is right - you don't want to leave it on for too long or it gets dried on.

I use the dwell time and go around the car with some brushes to agitate the SF in panel gaps, around badges etc - those areas that are often difficult to get to when washing with shampoo and mitt/sponge.
