Really want to Spray my schmidt's but I don't want to take them apart. Do you think masking the wheels and spraying the centers will be ok?
I bought between coats sandpaper. masking tape, paint and lacquer. Didn't buy primer as I'm going to sand the paint on the wheels to get a semi rough surface, then spray onto that. Is that ok? or do I need primer?
I've used rattle cans a lot but I just want some advise before I spray my Schmidt's

if those wheels were mine mate i wouldnt get a rattle can near them! if you are going to spray them i would do a proper job and break them down, clean all the bolts and give everything else the once over too!
powder coated would be my number 1 choice
