Title: Rare?

Okay while i wait for my mate to send me pics of this MK2 thats been sat i desided to look thru some of my old parts! Got these dials anything rare? never seen another set with the MPG dial there and th fuel and temp at the bottom? As far as i know it was removed from a B reg GTi but i never actually used them as i sold my mk2 years ago!

Only fitted to 1984 - 1985 Cars, don't think they are worth that much more than std ones...

my old b reg was the same - had it for about a year and still never figured out how the mpg guage worked, it would occasionally flash green

That'll be the shift light. I believe it lights up at the most economical time to shift up, and a needle swings up when in 5th to show your MPG on the gauge.

Ah okay at least I know! Will they fit in other early gti with the hazard on dash and still work as it should?

 :shocked: A needle swings up ?  It often flashes yellow in every gear on my 85 k jet, but ive never seen a needle !!
