Title: insurance help

Hi people, I've been away for a while but I'm back for the summer and I need some advice in relation to getting my great white money pit on the road and used as my new company vehicle.
I need to get myself insurance cover for my 1982 1.6 gti mk1, I have had a look at a few and most if not all state I have to also have an alarm + kit fitted as well before they will allow me to be let loose.
I'm with elephant now but my policy runs out in two months so I can easily change.
I'm 26 with 2years no claims living in chingford and the car will be out on the road. I can have it reduced mileage as I have just got myself a camper van.
Any advice would be very gratefully received.

Try HIC or Brentacre, look in the Good Guys section on this site. One of the lads from HIC (martinb) has just joined this site and will give you a discount if you mention that fact.  :smiley:
