Title: spraying wheels

hi to all im having a bit of a drama spraying my wheels. im using plasti kote and never had a problem with it. i sprayed them last night with no trouble but went back to them this arvo went back to them just to finish off the coats before lacquering and the paint crackled.  much swearing and throwing stuff later i went back to them rubbed the crackled bits dont and tried again the same problem in different parts of the wheel.  any suggestions?

sounds like orange peel it must be reacting some how try giving them a good clean to get rid of all the sicone then key it up (i take it you have rubbed them down) if they are down to metal use etch primer then paint and lacquer should be good after that,

yer i rubbed them down and gave them a good clean up, my neighbour who did his porsche wheels said he just keyed up then sprayed. so i did that, but i'll try now to rub them back again and degrease. would you say white spirit should get rid of the grease.  thanks for your help
