Title: Clutch very stiff

My clutch peddle is really stiff I've just brought the mk3 golf there no faults on the car what so ever the
Fault there is ,is the clutch peddle is there any way of me greasing it up so it makes it easy to change gear and move softer on the peddle  ?thanks

It could be the gear linkage that's stiff. Try giving it a spray with the good old dw40 and see how that goes first. If that fails then post back  :smiley:

I agree with Wayne.......the auto adjuster in the cable seizes with age! and only a new cable can fix it

What's the mileage? has the clutch ever been changed?
