Hi i am new to the VW seen and i want to fit a set of recaros to my Mk2 golf gti what golfs came standard with these fitted i know some of the mk3's had them fitted but are they a straight fit??

Swap the runners over from your old mk2 seats and the mk3 recaros will drop straight in then. You can get leather interiors, rally interiors and a few different cloth types. Leather is generally most expensive if it includes door cards and is often closely chased price wise by a rally interior. The generic golf and driver interiors are often given away and are pretty worthless unless in exceptional condition. You can also fit a corrado seat set with a little adaptation of the rear bench. Hope this helps

not quite, mk3 recaros use different base frames to mk2s. this only works with normal gti seats. you can swap the back onto complete 90spec bases, but it will look a little silly as the fabrics will not match. unless you get mk3 colour concept leathers in black plus 90spec black leather mk2 bases...
other option is to cut off and reweld one of the legs on the mk3 recaro bases, mk3 seat is as little wider at the legs see
