Title: 020/02y gearbox

I need to change my pushrod, release bearing and end cap, as clutch is not fully engaging / disengaging etc. I'm going to get a new rod from vw, but a mate has a new end cap and rel bearing at work that were for his old 8v box that he never fitted, does anyone know if they're all the same or if ill be caught out when coming to do it..  They'd be for a 1986 8v, mines a '91 16v

yup the cap,bearing and push rod are all the same also heres a link to the guide i wrote on how to change the bearing,hope it helps
