While you're out for an evening walk you spot a black 3 dr GTI in the local VW dealers lot and you stand and admire it for 20 minutes - even though you have 1 at home in the garage

I find myself "spotting" other GTI's on the road and pointing them out to the missus. She then mutters "GTI Geek" under her breath.

x2 , i still do that even after 3 years of mk5 GTi ownership :nerd:

Sad isn't it, I do the same with Mk5/6 GTi's and all R32's. At least I've grown-up, I used to spot Escort Harriers, Mexico's and RS2000's 30 years ago!

Same here, I love spotting a GTI or R32 on the road, especially since they are a rare enough sight on Irish roads.

After a driving "experience" in a Gallardo you are happy to be back in a great sporting allrounder and glad you don't have to pose around in a Lambo.
