An old guy decided to drive into my mk3 I got a week ago. bad day!! ive taken the bonnet bumper and wing off and where the bumper slides into the chassis leg is bent up pretty bad. anyone got any tips on straightening this back out or can i get a piece off an old car and replace it??

Will need to go onto a jig to be sorted, not something to bodge really

bollocksssss

Jiggity jiggity.

Doesn't it have to go on a jig and then get inspected by....? to be aloud to go back on the road?
tbh mate that sounds like a write off. Can't you claim?

Pic of damage?
Are you on about the chassis leg itself or the bracket that is welded to it that supports the bumper?
-
From what you are saying you are refering to the bracket that comes out to the bumper being bent up but mistaking it for being the chassis leg.
For an old man to drive into your car and bed the chassis leg upwards he would have to be doing some.
-
yeah its the bracket that the bumper sits on.

sounds like the same problem we have, car took quite an inpact but if a can straighten the leg its a good car again.
