I've got a '91 Mk II 8V. The exhaust has just started blowing from back, but is corroded at varioius points. Wanted to ask about replacing it: is it worth replacing the whole system in one go (any benefits like better fitting?), should I try and get an original exhaust from VW (expensive) or German/Swedish to keep the car as original as possible. I'm not wanting a louder system and am planning on keeping the car indefinately. Any advice much appreciated,
