Hi Guys... long time since IÂ’ve been on this site so IÂ’m back with some new modifications... pictures will show soon.
However i have a small problem with my Electric Windows..
In my Golf Instruction Manual its mentions Automatic Fuses. It states..
"All electric window lifters have a common automatic fuse device which switches on again automatically a few seconds after the cause of the overload (e.g. frozen windows) has been eliminated
The motors for the electric seat height adjustment each have an overload protection circuit. If a motor is overloaded it switches itself off temporarily"
I have a feeling this is the cause of the problem but i have no idea where the Automatic fuese are... can any provide any information on this?
Thanks a lot

It should be fitted either on or next to the relay on top of the fuse box.It looks like a fuse but with a metal cover. When you find it, it is held in by a little plastic clip, try fitting a 30amp fuse if you think this is faulty, just to test.

Now have electric windows again ....
Heres how the problem was resolved.
Striped the door card off, removed the 4 bolts to so the glass guiders could be moved, removed the 5 screws from the motor so we could remove the silver plate, added greese and WD40, put the device back together and windows working again... All ready for the summer now.
