Title: TDI 90 - Is it worth getting remapped ?
Post by: Verado350 on 20 April 2011, 10:39
Hi Guys,

New MK4 TDI 90 owner here.

Ive noticed that Revo are offering £100 off the remapping service at the moment, bringing the cost down to £99. At this price it is seriously tempting but it is worth it ?

Also are the standard internals up to the job ?

Thanks in advance.

Would certainly notice a difference, i got my rempa done by revo and was rather dissapointed tbh, its abit full on if you get me. Power comes all of a sudden.

Im just after that little bit more power.

I find the 90 quite flat as it is.

Got her booked in for next Friday at Rtech.

Really looking forward to freeing up the extra power.

The R-Tech software will add around 30bhp and 40lbft ans with the correct driving manner can easy return an extra 15%MPG.  Look forward to meeting you.

Just arrived home.

Its been a very long day but my god has it been justified thanks to the guys at R-Tech.

Set out this morning at 4:30 to be with them at 9:30. Alot of my friends are asking me why travel so far, my answer, because I wanted it to be done by the best. Simple.

My point has been proven, with my TDI 90 rolling out of there with 121 BHP and 210 LBFT. During the drive home, the Mrs and I couldn't stop smiling.

Thanks guys, couldn't recommend enough ! Anyone on the edge, jump off and get it done ! Best £225 I have ever spent.

Hello,

I am glad your happy with the remap and service that R-Tech provided to you. Some say the 90TDI aint worth mapping, but IMO its one of the best ones to do as it shows up how lame the factory power is..lol

Any problems or questions you know where we are.

Thanks again for your custom and support.
