Title: rear axle

i posted on hear the other day about me mk4 needing new axle bushes and shocks!
well ive just come accross a complete rear axle in pretty good condition (needs a clean) for 75 notes.
it comes complete with discs, shocks and springs, and calipers. is this worth going for?
secondly could i use the calipers to upgrade my mk1?

You would still be better to fit new bushes before fitting so you are not gaining a lot.

Would be worth it if the axle bushes are in good condition.
