Title: roof painting

can i paint the inner part of the roof on my mk1 cabriolet? its white  vinyl at the mo and no amount of cleaning will get it clean!!! so wanted 2 spray it black!!

Don't think so as is will crack when you fold the roof.  :undecided:

Try cleaning with Brake cleaner sprayed onto a clean rag, this must be done outdoors due to fumes!
