My gti is soon ready for a service at 96k. I was just wondering what should done in this srvice.

Should it be :
1.Spark plugs
2.Air filter
3.Oil filter
4.Pollen filter
5.Oil
6.Fuel filter

All sounds good.  I would recommend sourcing all the parts from VW.

Only other thing i can think of is a brake fluid change.  Which should be done roughly every 20k miles or 2 years

Other than that just check the level of coolant, pas fluid etc.

was thinking about taking it to a vw specialist garage autovolks (shirley), so parts should be vw spec. was thinking about fan belt &  timing belt.
Has anyone had a service at autovolks, how good are they?

i just got my 8v gti (96k)serviced at vw it only cost £90 :smiley:
