Nope will not fit over the brakes 14" is the smallest that will fit.
13" are daft anyway

i dunno, i think it depends on style really, i quite like an early mk2 on wideish ats classics and a healthy but not excessive drop
admittedly, they mess up gearing something chronic

I had 13's on my old car. The top speed was around 80-90, it used a LOT of fuel and you can say goodbye to grip off the line!

That looks awesome.
I can imagine that on a small bumper you would be harking back to the Mk2 Escort looks wise.

See what I mean?

Yeah does look good doesn't it.

I think small wheels can be executed really well on mk2's BUT like mentioned they screw the gearing up and make speed humps nearon impossible if you're running any reasonable amount of drop on the suspension to bannish the huge arch gap the wheels have created.

I'm a static man, but, bags for the win

The wheels were superlites off a Mini fitted with wobble bolts as the pcd is 104 iirc. 14's aren't bad and that way you can retain a little practicality!
Found a few more pics
