Cracking result and lots of tv coverage for the golf

Looks like it's got some real pace, and from what i've read on the Detailing World build thread all of the other turbo cars are over boosting, the golf is the only one that isn't which makes it even more impressive!

Hondas being quicker than him basically!

I like him, because there are probably only 3 drivers who will really b!tch when theyre pissed off

Plato, hammy and Alponso

Well I know he is moaning about Honda's being quicker... but is there a specific mod or otherwise that is causing them to be quicker?

Just watched race 2. Last corner was epic as I'm not exactly a Matt Neal fan. The onboard shot where you could just hear him shouting 'F*cking idiot' at himself was simply amazing!

plato in an old spec engine

hondas run a new turbo engine

but they are meant to be a level playing field as such

Guy

Plato's issue is that some whilst some cars have Turbos this year and some don't, the idea was for them to be competitive. As he sees it there is no competition the turbos can P*** all over the rest of the field on the straights. \they reduced the turbo power once to compensate but in his opinion not enough..

Couldn't believe the two Honda's!

Yea that's why he wasn't in it, they're not sure why they have parted ways.

Probably because he realized there was a competition to give away his car lol

maybe to do with the tyre choice in race 2? I noticed he was dropping down the order fairly quickly being the only guy on slicks front and rear, but then again you would have thought tyre choice was the drivers. Either way its a shame!

think it was the teams decision not to run the last race

Yup, but was it not as a result of TOC declaring that he was leaving the team?

Quote
Just prior to race three, Onslow-Cole informed the team that he would be leaving to join another, unnamed, squad for the next round at Croft. AmD boss Shaun Hollamby therefore decided to withdraw its entry.

"We were told of Tom's decision 15 minutes before the final race today," he said. "There was no point [doing the race] because he doesn't have the money to fix any damage.

who doesn't have the money.. TOC or the Team? would it be TOC's responsibility to pay for repairs should there be any damage?
