hi everybody i need some help. i bought a year 2000 mk4 golf gti turbo, great car apart from all the dials on the dash dont work. eg rev counter,speedo, trip computer, fuel and temp gauges. i have checked all the fuses and all are ok. any body any ideas. i need some!! thanks in advance.

do they light up ? if not has the plug fell out ?

they do light up but there is i split second delay before they do. the milage and clock are desplayed

ok guys i checked the plugs on the back of the cluster and there in place. also got it in vagcom and no faults!!! any other ideas as to what to do.??? thanks

just realised that the trip computer display isnt working either

i am getting a mate to let me try a set of clocks so if the fuel gauge rises or the display for the trip computer comes on it will be the clocks need replaced. if it doesent could it be the central convienience unit???

tried clocks tonight and the fuel gauge worked! so need to get a set of clocks noe and get them coded.
