I put 195/40's on a mates TT comps a awhile back. Not too stupid looking, just right in my opinion.
-
i had 205's on some tt comps. looked ok.
-
yeah i dont want a stupid stretch, just so it looks like the tyre continues from the curve of the arch, anyone got any pics?

of tt wheels............
-
A wheel is a wheel, just look for the amount of stretch a 195/40 will give you on a 7" rim.
-
what do you mean a wheel is a wheel, i have audi tt rims and i wanna see what they look like on stretch tyres, why do you have to be awkward?
-
Being awkward is telling you to fcuk off with your stupid Audi wheels on a VW.
Sorry mate, thats not my game. Have a look on Tyrestretch as there are plenty of pictures of TT wheels with all sorts of tyre configurations. But as said the 195/40 is the best tyre for achieving the stretched look on the TT rims.
I take it we're talking about the ones in your sig?

Lol well i appreciate your help but i obviously just wanna see what it looks like on tt's! im not to keen on the wheels but im not gunna waste 4/500 quid on a set of average rims id rather spend like top dolla or make the most out of what i got. and if your saying im grumpy i assure you im not as im not a very strong painkiller which gives me very very high spirits haha!
