Title: Walk anti lift kit
Post by: Neil gti on 13 April 2011, 06:39
Been enquiring yesterday from the local vw tuning specialist about getting the walk kit fitted to the mk6 and rear engine mount fitted, he came back to me a couple of hrs later and said that there isn't any in the country till the end of May  (the walk kits that is)  Anyone know any different ? am i right in thinking that they are different to the mk5 ones ?

Thanx in advance guys  whoops n Gals

Darren

You sure?
I thought Steve P had tried to fit a Mk5 WALK and the lower arms are different, and the bush sits at a different angle on the Mk6 and it wouldn't fit?

I'm sure that's the case because I cancelled buying a WALK because of reading that.

Lots of debate if the housing are meant to be the same or not, I think the SuperPro option is slightly better

Mr. P
Is it the full bottom arms that are coming off ? surely not worth getting the bushes pressed out and re using on another car ie having to get pressed in again ?  :undecided:
What are you replacing them with

I am going back to standard and am replacing the console with a new standard one so my superpro bushes will be sold in the console (so basically like buying a walk)
