recently takent he plunge and bought a set of bbs rs centre caps and they arrived in component form. you get an aluminium nut, plastic threaded section which clips into the back of the nut, a split washer, aluminium plate and a badge.
I coulodnt get the plastic to clip into the aluminium and had no idea where the split washer went so i called PW Motorsport who supplied the goodies. The split washer goes between the nut and the plate apparenty and the plastic part is supposed to be a pig to get in. they recommended a press.
I greased the plastic part

then lined everything up and held the 2 parts in a clamp, protected by wood.

it was nigh on impossible to get it to go in straight so i put a bit of presure in one area, released the clamp then did it again in another area untill it popped in firmly.
job done
