Where is the fuel filter on my golf mk1 cab 1.8 k-jet?  Can't find it anywhere, how do you replace it?

will be the silver cylinder mounted beside the metering head in the engine bay, look to the rhs of engine bay and you will see a block with fuel lines on the top of it, the filter is mounted on the side

Pull the fuel pump fuse or relay and run the car until it cuts out, this releases the pressure in the fuel system then change as required.
