hi guys fitted new door handles and locks  can lock and unlock the car but cannot open the drivers door from the inside or the outside ...  what is going on ?????????????????????????????

Take it off again and have a look..its probably sitting under the catch rather than on top of it.. That could also be why the inner handle doesn't work (if its jammed and not pulling), but if not the little rod from the inner handle has come off the catch.  most likely the catch is jammed from the outer handle fitted wrong, if you haven't touched the inner one also..
