That pic was taken circa 1990 when I took delivery of it.
A 5-door run-out model with electric windows, and headlamp washers!
I know it's still out there, as I did a DVLA check online.

 don't.... I chucked my mk1's away by mistake.

Head lamp washers only appeal because they're different.. If every mk2 had them people would be removing them to look smoother, and different.they don't even have wipers- so what the hell is a jet of water going to do? If you spray a garden hose on your headlamp it doesn't clean it at all-you have to sponge/ agitate it, so a piddly little jet??!! Same as the rear spoiler that was for sale a while back, with built in brake light, that you'll never see, and 99.9999% won't notice..but well worth the few hundred quid?! Hmmm...

MK1's are quite big, TBO I just like the look of them as it's a rare site on a mk1 and look like US nudge bars.
But yeah when I had them I never used them, if you did need to clean them at least you had a source of water for them when you got a cloth out.

i know 2 people that have big and small bumpers with washers between them for sale but no interest in them at all.
