The mk6 has been around for a couple of years now.
Who has the most miles? GTI/GTD/GT/TSI/TDI and all other variants.
Mine is on 14k. 18 months old. GTI.
-
It depends on if your asking about petrol or deisels as well.
I would expect Steve P to have quite high miles on his GTI for a GTI due to his commute.

Using my Freedom Pass on tubes and busses.
Hope the cost of fuel escalates which would impact on easing traffic congestion, much to my benifit.
Shoulder is healing well and ready to give you a good left hook.
Thank you for your touching concern.

I've enjoyed most of my miles.
Mix of commute, school run, holidays and quite a few 'pleasure' miles.
A few hundred miles spent lugging the mother-in-law around which weren't so good, no music and ohh so slow....

Feckless twits are paying for it I presume?
-
Of course, to be honest, I'm ringing the garage where I bought it from today. When it goes in on Wednesday, it'll have been in for the 6th time and they need it for the day, considering I've only had it 5 weeks, I think the garage has driven it more then I have :( I think I'm well within my rights to ask for an exchange?
-
........non vw approved car?
-
Nope, silly me buying from a car supermarket, so far of 5 weeks of ownership;
New drivers wiper arm,
New auxiliary belt,
New front brake pads,
New fuel filter,
And now, new dual mass fly wheel.
Speaking to consumer direct in the morning, apparantly as the car is on HP, it's down the the finance company to sort and I'll be asking for an exchange and checking it over properly first :)
The have got a nice looking MK5 GTI for the same price as I paid for mine with decent factory fit options and lower mileage, might push for that.

Not far off 17,000 miles, from new in September 2009. That includes the trip to Bavaria in the summer of 2010.
