the plastic covers you can get that go with the big bumper is the anything else you can use as it dosent look right and  i dont rely want covers over the wheel arches any help would be much appriceated

You can get some spats that fit on.  One on the front arch and two on the rear.

I know that sounds a bit daft, but do a Google search for mk2 Golf big bumper, and it should come up.
