Hi all! I'm a new member but long time gti owner.
Time to upgrade my sounds! I was saving pennies for the rns510 unit and stumbled across an American company called Semting who make very impressive head units for a quarter of the price of the VW equivalent. The stereos have DAB, DVD, SatNav, Bluetooth, iPod connection with options for reverse camera and the usual toys.
Has anyone bought one of these and successfully installed it in their UK MK5s? All our friends accross the water seem to be fine but have had reports if the UK loom being slightly different and some have had trouble installing
Can anyone shed any light on this?
