Title: HELP......... petrol gage and temp gage not working ....... why???

As above ive a mk2 golf 1.8 16v on a f plate and my petrol gage and temp gage have stopped working
dose anyone know why???

look on the side of the head for damaged brown/white wires, one of these is the earth for the dash
